Tedshomestay is situated in a village called Kaipuzha. Kaipuzha is a low-lying village in Northern Kuttanad. It is known as a "Rice Bowl" as the occupation of villagers is the traditional paddy cultivation. The green structure of paddy cultivation. In the island you can observe Planting, Harvesting, Toddy Tapping etc, or just trek through the farm enjoying the natural surroundings. You can also take a Country Boat Ride through the Main Canal in the farm and enage in Bird Watching. You can do a village expedition either by foot or on a bicycle with the aid of map and in the process observe local community life and activities like teditional Fishing and Farming.

Traditional motorboats or speed boats can be hired. In addition to this you can try out Country boat sailing or even try out rowing a Traditional Canone called "Vallam".

The homestay can provide an ideal base to explore backwaters as Kumarakom, Kottayam, Alappuzha are within 45 mins by boat from the property . In addition to this the major tourist destination of central and southern kerala(Like Munnar, Periyar, Kovalam, Trivandrum etc) are within 4Hrs drive from the property
